Daycare

Today was Anthony's first full day at daycare and my first full day back at work. (Yesterday we both did half days to ease into it.) He did really well and, I must admit, so did I. Tuesday was incredibly difficult dropping him off and, although it has gotten a little easier, it's still tough leaving him. Luckily the staff at London Bridge love him and they post pictures on Facebook so I get to see him throughout the day. I'm busy enough at work that it keeps me from thinking about Anthony constantly, but I still miss him all day and my favorite part of the day is picking him up at 5!

Back to Work

I just got word that I'll be returning to work after our vacation next week and I'm a wreck. I knew it was going to have to happen (although I hoped it wouldn't) and now I'm so scared. I know that the daycare will take good care of Anthony, but I'm going to miss spending my entire day with him after being with him for three months. I'm still looking for positions that will let me work from home so that he can stay with me, but I need to get back to work to bring in another income. This is probably going to be the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
