Haircut

Anthony had his first haircut today! I had an appointment for a trim and Matt and Anthony (and Jess) came with me so we could get Nuggey's hair trimmed a little. He was so good; no crying or fussing, just a little it of moving because he wanted to see what Amanda (my hair stylist) was doing.

Walking

We officially have a baby toddler on the move! Anthony decided that this weekend it was time he start walking on his own! And he is really taking off! He has stopped crawling unless he's just getting something nearby and loves to walk all around our apartment. It's incredible seeing him walk, although it does make me slightly nostalgic for the slug Nug of last year...especially when he's getting into the cat food.

12 Month Checkup

We had Anthony's 1 year wellness appointment today with Dr. Eden! Anthony is as healthy as ever! He weighed in at 19 lbs and 14 oz and measured 28 3/4" long! Dr. Eden checked his ears and they are still infection free! He got two vaccinations today for measles and chickenpox which he handled like a champ. Barring any other sickness, we don't have to go back until 15 months old (August).

First Birthday Party

Anthony's first birthday party was a success! We had a beautiful day for it, sunny and warm, which was great so that we could be outside! Anthony had a great time being with all of his family and he made out like a bandit! He has a ton of new toys and clothes to play with and wear! And he loved his smash cake that I made him!
